No surge pricing

We never surge-charge customers. We believe surge pricing exploits riders.

Fares

Clear fares in UAE dirhams.

Fares are set in US dollars and converted to UAE dirhams (AED) when your request is processed. You'll always see the estimated fare before you book.

Pay in the app, not with cashFor safety, KROOZ drivers don't accept or carry cash. Pay with any accepted bank, credit or debit card, or bank transfer in the KROOZ app. A cash option exists, but we don't recommend it — features like Stop & Wait may not be counted on cash trips, so drivers lose money.

Transparent, every timeSee your estimated fare or delivery fee before booking. When the trip ends, a summary is sent by SMS or email, and you can view trip and payment details anytime in the app. Questions about a payment? Reach out — we're happy to help.

Rider policy

Zero-tolerance policy.

Please request your ride when you're ready to travel.

Cancellation fee

If you cancel after a driver has been dispatched, a cancellation fee applies based on the vehicle type you ordered.

No-show fee

You'll get a text when your driver arrives. If you don't meet them within 3 minutes, the trip is cancelled automatically and a no-show fee applies; it can't be reversed. Request again and we'll pair you with the same driver or the next one available.

No drugs, weapons or open alcohol

Drugs, marijuana/cannabis, weapons and open alcohol are never allowed in a KROOZ vehicle. Drivers may end the trip without a refund, and your account may be banned.

Professional drivers

Drivers may not smoke or drink while driving for KROOZ. We don't tolerate sexual harassment: any reported driver is suspended and blocked, and legal action may follow.

Annual profit share

Each December, 20% of KROOZ's net profit in the UAE is shared among all active UAE drivers who drove for KROOZ that year.

The KROOZ Admin Fee and Safe Ride Fee that customers pay are platform fees, so they aren't part of the fare your 75% is calculated on.
